How to reinstall from the host computer

(alternate procedure: reinstall from the App Store)


STEP 1

Touch the app icon until it starts vibrating.  Then click the X symbol, and delete it.







STEP 2

Connect to the host computer and verify the device shows up in iTunes.


STEP 3

Sync.  This will probably not reinstall the app, so be sure to follow the next steps after syncing.


STEP 4

Choose Apps




STEP 5

Find the App.  Try sorting by Name





STEP 6

After you synced, iTunes probably updated the sync prefs for the app, thinking that if you deleted it from the device you probably don’t want to sync it again.  We need to correct this notion.

Ensure there is a checkbox next to the app




STEP 7

Apply your changes.  This should generate a sync and update the device.
